Jesse Bomer

Prior to co-founding Edge, Mr. Bomer was General Counsel at Natural Gas Partners (“NGP”). During his five years at NGP, Mr. Bomer led the structuring and execution of the substantial majority of NGP’s transactions. Mr. Bomer also led NGP’s first-time SEC registration and oversaw NGP’s compliance function. In addition to his legal responsibilities, Mr. Bomer also had an active role sourcing investments in the Mid-Continent region and monitoring portfolio companies throughout North America. Mr. Bomer served on NGP’s Investment Process Committee and Monitoring Committee and represented NGP on numerous private boards. Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Bomer was a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Securities group of Thompson & Knight LLP in Dallas, where his practice focused on the representation of energy private equity funds in all phases of their formation and operation. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight LLP, Mr. Bomer was a corporate associate at Johnson & Jones, P.C. in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Bomer received a B.S. in Finance, magna cum laude, in 2000 and a J.D., with highest honors, in 2003 from the University of Tulsa.
